Glorious Spring! is a bright Modern Cultural Artifact Artwork made up of: clothes pins, old cell phones and cell phone chargers, ink jet cartridges, springs, soda tabs, bottle caps, buttons, screws, nuts, broken holiday magnets, broken or discarded jewelry, cabinet handles, mardi gras beads, old keys, knife, broked eyeglass frame, shells, and many, many more items I found on the ground at the local home improvement store and while walking down the street.

Because I am asked this question frequently, I will tell you that this piece took almost three months to complete.

I love this art form for so many reasons. The texture is probably #1. Next is that this is a way to recycle junk. It just feels like so many things have such a short life, that finding another use for them just seems right to me. I like what can be created, I like the imagination sometimes required, and, I have fun doing it!
